What is a Student Success Coach?

A Student Success Coach meets one-on-one with students (in-person or online) to discuss strategies for reaching student goals with study strategies, note taking, motivation, organization, time management, and overall academic success.

What is tutoring vs. teaching?

A tutor reinforces what a student has learned in the classroom and provides additional one-on-one assistance. Tutors are primarily available outside of the availability of teachers and oftentimes work with the teacher to further understand the student's needs.

How do I know if my child (or if I) need a tutor?

If your child (or you) are struggling in a subject matter and have sought additional assistance from the teacher, now would be the time to seek out a tutor. Additionally, some secure a tutor before there is an academic need in order to assist with homework and study skills to remain on track.
